KKJ (Keikeijiei) is a studio that explores the relationship between people and what they wear—
clothing and accessories, and the diverse contexts they inhabit (
bodily presence, labor, climate, narrative, craft, and systems
)
For each project, we assemble these elements, experiment, and build spaces for practice and reflection.
- Planning and producing garments and products tailored to specific concepts and use
- Developing clothing-related brands and overseeing creative direction, including team coordination
- Researching clothing history and its surrounding cultural and material contexts
- Planning and directing exhibitions, educational programs, editorial projects, and community-based activities
- Conducting collaborative R&D using insights from clothing and accessory design
We work flexibly across disciplines and scales. Please feel free to contact us for inquiries or collaborations.
